We made hat wearing viable & modern for the 21st century.

In the mid-1990s, after 17 years in business, Eric realized that women would never embrace hats for daily wear unless they were durable and practical. Straw materials at the time were too fragile, so Eric set out to create a material that fit a modern lifestyle. After a year of development, he introduced Squishee®, a lightweight, flexible material that could be rolled up for travel and spring back to shape without damage.

Launched in 1995, it revolutionized the women's headwear market. Today, Squishee® has expanded into packable accessories, including handbags (1998), footwear (2002), and men's headwear (2017).
