Eric launched the first bag he ever designed, Squishee® Tote for Spring 1998 and it was an extraordinary success. Reflecting on why women embraced it, Eric says, "It was because the style was so simple, a soft lightweight shoulder tote that could be rolled, folded and packed for travel which also matched the Squishee® hat. It was an easy solution for pulling together casual summer looks".

Of all Eric Javits bags for sale online, his new updated version is a style truly rooted in the brand's beginnings.

With Squishee® Tote II, Eric's intent was to remake the original with a few improvements that were too important to ignore. The bag now has the security of a top zipper closure, discreet leather under handle protectors, and now the interior layout includes a side-wall zipper pocket, four patch pockets, and a key clip holder. 

Squishee® is a man-made material incorporating recycled fibers. It looks and feels just like natural raffia but has the advantage of superior durability and packability. Unlike other natural fiber straw, Squishee® will not crack or splinter from wear or melt when wet.
