Another brilliant EJ hat

"I wanted a black western style hat to wear with my Colorado clothes. I looked and looked and even tried to buy one in Denver. Who knew my favorite NYC hat designer had the one I actually wanted. ? I have four of your

"I have four of your hats. They are all beautiful and well made. My issue is the fit. In other brands I wear a large. Your hats are one size. As a result this last hat is tight. Not comfortable. It gives me a headache. One size does not fit all. I would think that as expensive as Eric Javier’s hats are you could make them in actual sizes, small, medium, large and extra large. Q&A

Hi. I am interested in the Jade wool fedora. My head measures 21.5 "--Is there enough size adjustment in this model? I'm 5'2" and slender--will it overwhelm me? Thanks so much for your advice. Kathy: Most of our hats are made in a standard "one size fits most" at 22 ¾. You may request for hat tapes to be sent to you when you place an order via our website. This will help bring the hat down to your size.

If you wear the hat a bit lower on your forehead, how to you keep makeup, sunscreen or moisturizer from damaging the hat?: Hi Nancy, There is an elastic band inside of the crown of the hat. Unfortunately if you wear makeup or moisturizer it will get on the band. If you purchase visor they have a terry pad that is removable to be washed and will probably be better to wear if you do use those products. Eric Javits Team

Some of your hats run on the smaller side and some fit me great. Can you give me an idea as to how this hat has been fitting Mose people?: All our hats run a standard size which is 22 3/4", do you know your exact head measurements? You can use a measuring tape start in the center of your forehead, in between your eyebrows and go around until you meet back in between eyebrows. Make sure to go above your ears. When your ready to place an order mention your head size when your checking out with your purchase. We will make sure to make the hat to fit you.
