Eric drew inspiration for this design from the simple sun bonnets, landscape artists wore in the mid-19th century. This timeless style, with a soft wide brim, banded with grosgrain ribbon, has chin strap ties of the same. The ribbon can be tied under your chin or at the back of your head on a windy day so you can enjoy the great outdoors fearlessly. While indoors, use the ties to let the hat dangle down your back.

Squishee® is a man-made material incorporating recycled fibers that is lightweight and packable. It will not crack with wear or melt when wet and is more durable and lightweight than natural fiber straw.

Independent testing in accordance with AATCC (American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists) test methods has determined this product’s effectiveness for blocking ultraviolet radiation as well as UVA/UVB radiation. This product was awarded the highest rating of UPF 50+.
