Yak are sturdy long haired animals found in the Himalayas and the plains of Mongolia. A Yak's fur is very dense and sheds profusely. One pound of hair can be brushed out during the course of a year, so there is no need to ever shorn them. You will appreciate this wool which is comparable to angora or cashmere for its superior softness. Fully lined. One size fits most. This most sustainable wool does not use any chemical dyes as the two available shades are the animal’s actual natural hair color.
