"I wanted a black western style hat to wear with my Colorado clothes. I looked and looked and even tried to buy one in Denver. Who knew my favorite NYC hat designer had the one I actually wanted. ? Not oversized. Brim is perfect wide enough to look nice but nit too wide so my face is completely hidden. Weather resistant. Goes perfectly with my black cowgirl boots. Thanks Eric!"
"Love it. I prefer this shape to a traditional cowboy hat shape. Fits well. I wish it came in a brown. I first ordered almond one but it has a slight pink hue. I returned it and ordered russet, which I like very much."

"I have four of your hats. They are all beautiful and well made. My issue is the fit. In other brands I wear a large. Your hats are one size. As a result this last hat is tight. Not comfortable. It gives me a headache. One size does not fit all. I would think that as expensive as Eric Javier’s hats are you could make them in actual sizes, small, medium, large and extra large. "This is a beautiful hat in a unique subtle pink - accurately portrayed in online photos. Other great colors in the range made it difficult to choose, for me it was between the pink or soft blue. I ultimately chose pink. The shape is perfect for a Western style hat. The brim, while perfect look for the hat, was just a little too wide for my face. I loved it but felt it was not personally flattering. I have Western hats that I frequently wear that I get compliments on, the main difference is mine have narrower brims. Other wider brim felt hats that do look right on me are flexible floppy style. The construction of this hat is quite fine, even the inside of the Crown is beautifully made. If you know wider fixed (stiff formed felt, Western style) brims look good on you, don't hesitate to order this style. It's gorgeous!"
